After applying, I was contacted by talent acquisition about two weeks later. The first online meeting was indeed with talent acquisition and lasted about an hour in English. We discussed my main motivations and previous experiences; the interview was polite and professional. Subsequently, I had a second technical interview with part of the team, again with the presence of talent acquisition. This also lasted about an hour and was conducted in both English and Spanish. The questions were not particularly difficult, focusing mainly on technical aspects. I believe this second interview went very well, both in terms of the rapport with the interviewers and because the job requirements were more than aligned with my experience.
The third test was a psychometric assessment, using Tony Robbins' DISC Assessment methodology. It is one of many tests used for profiling. It takes about 30 minutes to complete. The profile that resulted from the test had many compatibilities with the job position as well.
The downside is that after two weeks of no news, I received a fairly generic email informing me that I had not been selected. Personally, I was quite disappointed with how things turned out. I asked for feedback to understand why I was not selected, given that all the tests seemed to have been well passed, but unfortunately, I did not receive any feedback.
I had many reasons for wanting to work at PLD, and being part of such a challenging project was among my preferences. Honestly, I expected a bit more in terms feedback.
