I applied for this position online using monster.com. I received a call a couple of days later, and the HR manager asked me some questions and we set up a meeting. My interview lasted for three hours, one and a half hours with the HR manager, one hour with the executives, and half an hour filling out paperwork. It was a very light and easy going interview. Everyone I met with was very cordial and they generally seemed enthusiastic about having me.
My meeting with HR was about the position itself, my background, and how well I believed I would do in certain situations. The executives enlightened me about the company's past (hard to find since it is privately held), exactly where the company stood at the present, and where all of their projections and models pointed them in the future.
It was a good experience, and they held true to their awards for being one of the most hospitable companies in Northern Ohio. I would say the thing to be ready for is to be able to explain your background, where you are coming from, and where you expect to be. I was honest in saying that after I finish certain certifications, I would reevaluate my current position and salary needs. I received the an offer, and I believe that they appreciated my candor.
