      Senior Software Engineer Interview

      29 Oct 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at PX in Oct 2025

      Interview

The process started with an initial HR interview, followed by a personality pre-assessment test. After that, they scheduled a technical interview that was supposed to last 1 hour. The interviewer joined, had a short chat, and then said, “share your screen — I’ll tell you a problem, and you write the solution.” There was no written task, no diagram, and no context whatsoever. He verbally described a random, complex problem — probably something he had personally struggled with — and expected me to solve it from scratch in 30 minutes. The session ended up taking 1 hour and 30 minutes, far beyond the planned time, with no structure! Despite putting in the effort, I received a simple rejection with no feedback or clear reason. Overall, it was one of the most unprofessional and poorly managed interview experiences I’ve had. There was no respect for time, no transparency, and no understanding of what a fair technical evaluation looks like. I wouldn’t recommend wasting your time with this company.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Just look at this text — it’s so much easier to understand than explaining it verbally! You are given two lists: one containing vendors and one containing clients. Each vendor has an amount (the value or load they can provide). Each client has a capacity (the maximum total amount they can receive). You need to assign vendors to clients in such a way that each client’s total assigned vendor amount does not exceed their capacity. The process should continue until all clients reach their full capacity or there are no more vendors available.
