The interview process included multiple stages: a recruiter screen, hiring manager interview, take-home assignment, cross-functional interview, a second hiring manager conversation, and a final interview with the VP.
Overall, it was a lengthy process. While I received positive feedback on my assignment and interviews, I was ultimately told I was “not a good fit.”
It felt like final decisions were heavily influenced by subjective team fit at the VP level, and it may be helpful for candidates to engage with that stage earlier in the process. While fit is important, I think there should be a balance so qualified candidates are not overlooked after a multi-step process.
