Talk about disorganization... Needless to say, I had the strangest interview with this organization. To start, they showed up late, which was already a red flag. Then, after finally arriving, I was left waiting for nearly 15 minutes while the interviewer shuffled around on camera. The icing on the cake was the interviewers muting themselves to talk amongst themselves. The entire experience felt rude and off-putting, and I quickly lost any enthusiasm to sit through their monotonous questions—especially when it was clear they couldn’t care less about my presence.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at People Assisting The Homeless (Los Angeles, CA) in Jun 2024
Interview
Emailed an interview invite to self-schedule a virtual teams meeting. It was a one hour interview with the program manager. Took about three weeks to hear back from HR with an offer and a few self-initiated requests for status updates, but was finally offered the position. I have six years of relevant experience, and inexperienced candidate might find the interview more challenging.
