      Software Engineer Interview

      4 Nov 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Perk in Oct 2022

      Interview

I want to select "impossible" instead of "Very Difficult" in the interview difficulty field. cause it is impossible to change where you were born (your nationality) or what is your race. after a good initial interview with the HR interviewer, and at the end she asked about your nationality and it seems mine was not THE RIGHT ONE. after a few days, I got a response that "he doesn't have enough experience" which was funny cause she didn't ask me anything technical (she is an HR employee). I can't tell if the company has a racist policy in hiring or if the HR interviewer is racist but either way. it was such a horrible interview. Small advice for Travel Perk: Please make a small effort to read the CV before the interview so you can avoid such a situation. CAUSE IT HURTS.
