Had an initial phone interview that went very well and had a follow up interview at their office in Westbrook. Given my education in engineering I was asked a few electrical engineering related questions that were relatively easy but considering I hadn't been in an engineering role for quite some time, admittedly I missed a few. Unfortunately, an older individual who was leading the interview became extremely condescending and literally told me that I should stay in my current managerial role. I was taken aback at how unprofessional and inappropriate this was. I made the effort to wear a full suit, research the company, etc. When walking out the door, it was clear that a handshake wasn't going to be offered so I took it upon myself to extend my hand and politely thanked the older man for his time. His response: 'Yup'. Unfortunately I experienced extremely disrespectful behavior but was glad that I was given the opportunity to see what the environment would have been like. Certainly dodged a bullet with this one.
