The interview process consisted of multiple behavioral and technical rounds each with different employees providing a good opportunity to learn about the team and culture.
The team ensured to put an early emphasis on re-iterating the type of work environment, the day-to-day nature of the role, and start-up life.
The technical interviews involved collaborative problem-solving and did not require any arbitrary prior knowledge such as certain Leetcode-style problems or random factual information. They truly felt like working through challenging problems with a potential future colleague.
The behavioral side of the interviews also did not require specific preparation. I felt that the conversations were exciting and that the team made sure all my questions were answered.
Throughout this process their recruiter was highly attentive, accommodating and welcome to feedback. I never had to chase the team or felt pressured to act in any way.
Overall, the interviews were extensive but not too lengthy, reasonable in terms of difficulty, inclusive and very interesting.
