      I interviewed at Podnuh's BBQ

      Interview

At the age of 22 I was out, once again, on the search for another restaurant job. The Podnuh's hadn't even opened yet and was still finishing renovations. I asked an older gentleman if the manager was in and that I would like to put in an application for a cooking position. He gave me the application, which I then filled out immediately in my vehicle. When I returned the application to him, he informed me that I would have to shave my beard. My beard was then and is still now, barely a few centimeters long. So, I walked out.
