Great and clear, was informed on time when the interviews where and with whom. Ended up not taking the job but nonetheless it was a good experience to be in
1 formal interview, 2 informal interviews. Very pleasant people. They hired internally but gave me HR feedback after the hiring process. It was overall a good experience but they are restructuring internally so still a bit of unclarity about that.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Porticus (Amsterdam) in Feb 2022
Interview
I was approached multiple times by a headhunter for a role at Porticus. I decided to say yes to proceeding after 3-4 attempts from the headhunter. The interview went went with the Headhunter and 2 rounds with the organisation itself. I got positive feedback that they are very enthusiastic about my application and would love to proceed further. After the second round I shared that I am expecting a baby 5-6 months. I got a call shortly after from the headhunter with feedback that they do not want to go ahead as they found my answers not very structured and also because I dont fit in the team. My own opinion is - the feedback and intonation changed a 180 degrees the moment I shared I am pregnant (knowing that pregnancy discrimination is illegal). So they used other vague excuses to reject my candidacy. It says volumes about the nature of culture within a huge philanthropy that claims that they are a 'force of good'.
