      I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Powertutors in Nov 2025

      Interview

      The process involved an initial call with a recruiter, followed by pre-recorded competency-based questions. The early stages were straightforward and well organised. However, after the interview, I received feedback that was provided directly by the founder. The tone of this feedback was surprisingly negative and personal, and included several incorrect assumptions about my background. There was no opportunity to clarify or respond to these points. This was unexpected, especially coming from the founder, and didn’t reflect the professionalism of the earlier stages of the process.

      “Give an example of how you’ve helped a team under your leadership hit ambitious targets while developing their capabilities. What tools or frameworks did you use?” “Describe a situation where there was tension or misalignment between two departments or senior team members. How did you handle it, and what was the outcome?” “Tell me about a time you implemented a new operational system or process that improved efficiency or accountability across multiple departments. What was your approach, and how did you measure success?”
