I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Princeton University in May 2026
Interview
1 phone screen, 3 rounds on the same day, round 1 is 20 minute HR screen with the personnel manager, round 2 and 3 are at the same time with 2 senior grants manager, 40 minutes of non-stop questions both for technical, practical, and situational. Personnel manager states clearly that she will keep candidates on track and in the loop but it is lies, you have to keep track of whether or not they moved on to another candidate by repeatedly emailing them.

Interview
I was invited to a 30 minute screening round a week after submitting my application. The first interview would have been followed by a Zoom interview then an onsite interview.

Interview
Faculty -> Executive Director -> offer. All were taken on Zoom. There was nothing surprising. Talked about research directions, contributions to the center's mission, relocation plans, and so on. The interview with the executive director implied that my research aligned with the center and was approved by PI.
