I was referred by an employee. I did two phone interviews before coming on-site for an interview. The in person interview consisted of three staffers. The questions were general; however, they did ask a lot of questions regarding AHCA and health care in general. It took about a week to hear back and was offered a position. About 48 hours later, HR called and gave me the offer, which was not very good. They told me I could either accept it there or reject it.
I refused to give an answer and called the hiring manager, who apologized on behalf of HR. She informed me I could have as much time as I needed. I reviewed the offer, and asked a lot of questions and got some great feedback. With time and information in hand, I decided against taking the offer. Ultimately, the position wasn’t going to meet my career needs.
