HR from Qmd called me one fine day and told me the role is confidential(hence i put the title similar to that but exactly not the same don't want to ruin their privacy as outsider), She told me my resume is selected by some Global leader and she will schedule the interview soon which she did. later i asked about the conveyance because the plant is 25-30 kms far from the city she said that facility is given to every employee so be assured, later on she asked me expected CTC, as she didnt explained the role so clearly to me i asked 50% hike on my current CTC keeping travel distance of 1-2 hrs in mind, to which she replied perfect.
My first round was VC (thank god) went well and for second round i was asked for face to face interview, i went Manesar taking half day from office and given two rounds again, which were cleared and then comes the pathetic part. she called me and said we cant pay you as per your expectations, can you please come bit lower, I asked her that i told you this on day one please discuss it with your Team again and then we can discuss. Same day she has given me the offer letter where i was given 10% hike on my current CTC with no travel facility for a female candidate(without discussing it with me prior giving me the offer infact i came to know when i read my offer letter no pick and drop facility will be given) I dont know how professional the firm is but definetly long way to go they should clear their Salary criteria and pick and drop facility on the call itself rather saying perfect she should have said that let me confirm, so that we both could have saved time and efforts.
