      Instructional Designer Interview

      9 Mar 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Quimbee in Feb 2022

      Interview

The initial interview went really well. I was sent a document and asked to provide a storyboard along with graphics. It took 4-5 hours to complete, along with a competency test on basic middle school education. I then received a generic email stating they were moving on with other candidates. When I asked for feedback, I didn't receive a response. I don't think it's fair I'm expected to perform hours of free labor and not even receive a basic feedback on my work.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

None really, just told information about the company and the position.

We are sorry you felt you did not have a positive experience. All candidates are informed during the beginning of the process that because of the volume of candidates who complete the exercise, we are unable to provide individual feedback. Additionally, the exercise we request all applicants to complete prior to being interviewed serves as the individual's portfolio to demonstrate that he/she/they possess the required skills to fulfill the role. It is not free labor as it serves no other purpose than to assess your skillset. We wish you success with your search.
