The worst experience I have ever had just trying to get an interview. I was willing to even relocate, but what made this experince change my mind about this great company, was the lack of clarity and follow up regarding communication after meeting withe recruiter in early March and discussing my qualifications, then applying for 2 other positions that she thought I was very qualified for. 1 week went by, then I had to contact her. Then i had to take an online test of 90 minutes which was a personality test, and operations questions with alot of math whixh was fine except the company I came from didnt use fractions. We used decimal measurements for inventory. So I suppose I got a few questions wrong. But does that take away my almost 9 years experience running stores and training franchisees and employees? Then another 2 weeks went by and I received an email on a Sunday night at 10pm letting me know that my qualifications didnt meet their standards. Then 2 more weeks went by until the next sunday night email of rejection. Then I saw that they reposted the same position and I reapplied and was called by a recruiter in Louisiana. Another week went by and finally I got a phone interview with her and it went well. She was excited about my qualifications and was going to personally walk my application and resume over to the hiring manager which she said would call me for another phone interview 2 weeks ago! So this journey started in late Feb! I have been out of work for 6 months and about to lose my home. My hopes were up so high after my last phone interview I cried and slept better than in weeks. Stll no phone cal so I called recruiter last Wednesday and guess what??? Tonigjt at exactly 10pm pst, I got the rejection email. What a ridiculous way to conduct the hiring process. It would be helpful to know what qualifications of mine didn't meet their standards and in the future...I try hope their follow up.with people improves, as some of us are enduring hardships and time is of the essence.
