Was contacted via email by HR to try to set up a time for an interview. Upon replying it was radio silence for a week. After calling and emailing multiple times over the time span of a week the HR lady finally replies and sets up a time for the interview. Now comes the day of the interview. The HR lady completely forgets to show up. Upon emailing the HR lady she apologizes for forgetting about the interview and sets up another time for the interview. Take note that it has been at least 3-4weeks by now. At this point, the process is getting tiring. Finally, on the day of the interview, I was just told that the position just got filled.
Overall the process was very tedious. Never in my life has it been so hard just to get in contact for the first screening interview. I understand that times can get busy and positions can get filled early but I have never seen such sheer incompetence or unprofessionalism from HR. If the employer is reading this please give some training to your HR department in time management. If you expect people to take precious time out of their day for an interview you should show the same courtesy/respect.
