I applied online and got a response within a week. I set up a time with a recruiter and asked questions about my background experience. Then about a week and a half later had a second round interview with the payroll manager. Before the second interview had to take a personality assessment. Again asked about background, tired to be conversational but did not ask much questions. I sensed the manager was not actually trying to hire anyone, just trying to do the “job” before leaving.
Lastly, I didn’t get the job but did not give feedback to why, if a company says they don’t use an assessment as a reason to hire someone yet don’t give feedback gives the candidate the reason to that’s the only reason aka not a cultural fit. After a second round, a candidate should be given feedback to the reason why.
As I read the review below, it sounds like we had a similar experience.

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Rehlko
Interview
Applied for one role and was recommended for another role. Interviewed for both and was qualified, but not selected. I don’t think that they are actually hiring for the role just getting a sense of the market

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Rehlko (Milwaukee, WI) in Sept 2025
Interview
Had an interview scheduled with the recruiter, but she never joined the meeting. I had sent follow up emails to the recruiter and asked for confirmation of the interview time and no response. I joined the meeting 7 minutes early and the recruiter never joined. I was in the meeting invite for about 15 minutes when I emailed the recruiter again, no response, left a voicemail, no response. About 25 minutes into the time, I was scheduled to meet with her, she finally emailed me back saying they are going to be "pivoting" on the role. I had to take the day off to make accommodations to join the interview and she can't even show up or let me know ahead of time. Pathetic. I would not recommend applying at this company. I won't ever again.
