Extremely professional interviewing process with straight forward questions. Wasn’t too hard, and I ended up getting the job. Really genuine people. Highly recommend the company and I really do feel like the Mortgage industry (as of right now during these times) is one of the premiere and fasted growing industries to get into.
I interviewed at Reliance First Capital (Melville, NY)
Interview
The interview process is via phone since this is over the phone position . First interview is with someone setting up the second interview . I thought I was prepared I had tons of sales experience but I guess it was not enough .

What questions do you have for me? Be prepared to ask thoughtful questions and be prepared
I applied online. I interviewed at Reliance First Capital (Nashville, TN) in Jun 2019
Interview
I arrived at 9, had to take a quick math test/fill out an application. The interview process itself was very disorganized. I was called back with Steve and Joe. I was asked several questions then they walked outside and had me shadow a sweet lady. She was the bright spot for me, she loved her job and was great at it. I then went back in and basically the same questions all over again, he wanted me to call him and read a script off.....only for him to hang up anyways.
Very odd, i was there for hours. I was told training would start the following Monday on the 17th, all of a sudden it was all booked out and the next class would be 2 months from now.
Very unorganized from HR to the management team, also very disrespectful to set that expectation on the phone, have me drive 2 hours round trip and waste another 3 hours in an interview.
Family oriented but you can tell management thinks they know it all and are better than you. I have proven sales experience and have always been coachable at the same time. I guess they want you to yell and say I am the best, hire me. Very odd process, interview and job.
