The HR screening call started with them saying the hiring manager had already seen my CV and wanted to talk to me. I went through my background, and they asked some very specific questions about how many YEARS of experience I had with AWS. No interest (or understanding) of my actual experience. When they found out it was less than "five years", they disqualified me. I could have done the job in my sleep, "weeded out" by an HR drone that didn't really even understand what AWS was (but she could sure count to five!)
