Republic Services Operations Tech interview questions

The interview consisted of mostly personal stories not work related, and a small amount of job specific education. My skills were not questioned. 1 brief question regarding one of my previous employers came up regarding the current economy. Nothing else. After 45 minutes, I was actually told that I was being selected and would be hearing from HR that day or the next. Of course, I did not have any contact info for HR, so I emailed the recruiter. Recruiter said they would be in touch. 6 days later, I get an email and a voicemail that they offered another applicant. NOT professional AT ALL.
