The process started with 2 phone screenings to get your background, followed by a take home Codility test that was medium level. A few multiple choice questions, followed by a logic problem. Both HR people I talked to were energetic and great to talk to. This is where the process took a nosedive. They set up another call with one of the software developers. It seemed like they were just reading from a prompt and not listening. For example they asked what could cause a memory leak. I explained what a race condition was without actually using the words "race condition", and then they just brushed off my answer and asked condescendingly, "Do you know what a race condition is?". So I explained what I said again, and they still weren't paying attention. After a barrage of questions, there was a live coding session with a half-thought out prompt. One sentence logic problem that wasn't clear and expected to be done in under 15 minutes. As I started to write out a solution and talk it out, the interviewer stopped me and told me a restriction to the solution that wasn't written, but acted like it was and it was obvious. Overall, that part felt rushed, impersonal, and disingenuous.
