Rock Solid interview questions

I responded to ad on Craigslist for an Event Planner position and received a call for an interview within a day or so. I had two in-person interviews for the position. I was asked in these interviews about my personal life, about my relationship with my boyfriend and whether or not I would consider myself conservative or liberal. The gentleman who interviewed me openly said he was weary to hire someone who moved to the area "for her boyfriend" because she could just pick up and leave any time. It became clear to me in the second interview that they did not agree with my personal life. I'm not sure whether or not my qualifications were considered. They are (or were in 2012) a very faith-based organization and I believe that this contributed in me not getting offered the position. I would not consider some of the questions asked appropriate for a job interview, but I didn't care to challenge them as I knew I didn't want to work there after my negative interview experience.
