      Account Manager Interview

      6 Jan 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Diego, CA
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Rocket Fuel Labs (San Diego, CA) in Mar 2022

      Interview

Met with the CEO first who was super sweet and very easy to talk to. She seemed like an amazing person and someone I could definitely see myself working for. After that, I spoke with the VP of marketing who was also very nice. After I was done with the interview they wanted me to do a marketing plan presentation and panel interview. Immediately, I was turned off from the position. A lot of companies over-complicate the hiring process. Most employers already have other jobs and it is very difficult to even find time to book an interview with a prospective company. Keep the interview process simple. You may lose good canditates.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Most of the questions were merely just asking about your experience and what you can bring to the table.
