      "Group Play Attendee" Interview

      10 Aug 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Golden, CO
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Rover Retreat (Golden, CO)

      Interview

I found an ad for the position of "Group Play Attendee" online and promptly applied. I received an email asking me to come in for an interview. The email gave no notion of how long this process would take or what exactly we would be doing. It was a "group" interview. There was one other applicant with me. At most, I was expecting the interview to take maybe an hour like most jobs. No. This interview was basically the length of a shift. We were there for 4 hours basically working and not being compensated for it. I went home and my family was genuinely confused as to why i was gone for nearly 4 and a half hours.
