I applied in-person. I interviewed at Rovers Security (Portland, OR) in Mar 2015
Interview
I received a phone call from the HR person. She was very nice and we had an informative conversation. I was invited in for an interview. It felt more like a pleasant conversation however, there were some questions that really made me think.

Interview
I submitted a resume to the HR Manager and less than a day later, I received a call to schedule an interview. He was very accommodating and let me pick the time that worked best for me. When I arrived for the interview, I was greeted warmly by the HR Manager, offered coffee (which I happily accepted) and proceeded to fill out an application.
After completing the application, I interviewed with the HR Manager and it was nothing like I thought it would be. He was very upbeat, engaging and warm, and seemed to genuinely care about what I had to say. I was very impressed to say the least.
They informed me that they would need to run a background check as a condition of employment. Once they received the background report on me (which was very quick because they have their own in-house screening company), they offered me a position.

Interview
Essentially it was a pretty easy process. I arrived early and ended up waiting 30 minutes extra for the HR manager. We discussed a little bit about the job, the training, pay etc etc and then remained talking about non related topics.
