The interview itself was straightforward, biggest problem was the lack of follow-up after. I was told I would hear back within a week (no matter what) and that did not happen.

How do you feel about working at a remote-first organization?
Strung me along for months interview after interview. Kept telling me I was perfect for the job. Checked all my references and they were great. Gave me a loose offer and then offered the job to someone else with no explanation after months of stringing me along. I have no problem being rejected they just need to learn how to do that. It’s incredibly rude and also I can tel they don’t have their stuff together.

Typical questions but then like every interview asked the same 10-15 questions round after round. Could tell one guy was doing other work and answering emails the whole time btw.

Interview
Interviewer was very nice and professional. However, their org policy which they are upfront about on their website is arduous and overly long. I know they want to make smart hires but process as designed is too slow and will lose good people who can’t afford to wait months and months.
