I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Russell & Smith Auto Group (Houston, TX) in Jan 2015
Interview
It was pretty straight forward. Told me what I would do and showed me around. Offered me the job. Didn't accept due to the low pay and no overtime pay.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Russell & Smith Auto Group (Houston, TX) in Dec 2012
Interview
Sat down with the new car sales manager and talked for about 15 minutes about my interaction skills and sales knowledge. Discussed my goals, how much I was available to work, etc.
Manager made clear that this is a very high-intensity environment and that I would be on my feet and talking to customers constantly. It was implied that only about 50 hours a week was needed, though after working there it became clear that 60 hours and up was really optimal to make substantial money.
