The process was essentially a call with recruiter followed by straightforward coding test. The test was more to evaluate problem solving and communication skills. The offer came through within a week of the interview.
Interview involved technical questions regarding Java, JWT, Springboot. Specific focus on projects and languages you miight be proficient in if not java. DSA questions asked as well. Good interview experience, no unnecessary pressure.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SBS (Bristol, England) in Sept 2025
Interview
I did a screening call with HR which was non technical to find out if I was suitable for the role. I then had a first stage interview with tech test and a chance to have a conversation about the company and the role. I had to chase the company with phone calls and emails to book in the interview after I had been told that they wanted to interview me which was quite frustrating. The interview was an hour and a half we did a technical test to go through coding skills and then answered questions about my CV. We also had a long conversation about the company and the role. The last stage would’ve been an in person interview, however I was rejected about a week after my online interview. I was informed I wasn’t getting the role by a template email which was also frustrating a call and some feedback would’ve been nice.
