At SEO TWIST we carefully screen candidates for all positions by asking key interview questions that relate to previous work experience, and in the case of technical positions such as web developers, graphic designers and SEO specialists, we ask specific questions to gauge a candidate’s knowledge of software and tools. And yes, we may research these software/tools during the interview if they differ from what we use or if we’re unfamiliar with them, in order to validate the information provided by the candidate.
Our interviews always involve reviewing a candidate’s portfolio, which enables us to assess work completed for previous clients/projects. Furthermore, to solicit non-ambiguous, real-world answers, we do ask scenario-type questions. Then, if a candidate seems promising, we administer a test. The salary that we offer is commensurate with a candidate’s education, experience and is in-line with industry standards.
We treat interview candidates with respect, and we sincerely apologize for any miscommunication related to the scheduling of your interview that may have caused you inconvenience. As a fast-growing digital marketing agency we admit that we have and likely will continue to experience some growing pains, which is a common downside of company growth.
