6+ weeks process. I interviewed for Heat Exchanger Division. Initially, the process was quick. Total 6 rounds of the interview process. I reached to the 5th round but after that, I didn't make it to the onsite interview which is 6th and final round. First 5 round process was quick and it takes 2 weeks to complete and after that, they took 1 month to decide that whether they should call me to onsite or not. I got rejection after 1 month. 1st round was with a recruiter - It was a very quick telephonic conversation, he asked me general questions and interests about the position. Second round with hiring manager- technical interview - asked many technical questions about pressure vessels and about codes and materials. It lasts about 45 minutes. 3rd round was again with the hiring manager of the same team - asked me again so many technical questions and also about my experience and the projects I have done. It lasts about 40 minutes. 4th round was with HR of the company. It was very smooth and nice conversation. Asked me about my availability and how immediate I can join and other behavioral questions. 5th round was with VP of engineering of the department. Interview I felt was very rough. He asked me some non-technical questions which I was unable to answer. Interview was non-technical. He asked mw about my resume and the format of resume. Questions were to find errors in my resume and I need to resend him back in few hours. It was a 25 minutes interview. After this all steps, I got a positive feedback from a recruiter. Recruiter also mentioned that VP was very impressed with me and they are arranging to call me for onsite. I waited for a month but after waiting this long I got a rejection Email. There was no reason of getting rejected.
