I went through a multi-stage technical interview process (backend and frontend on separate days), and overall it was a very positive experience.
Both interviewers were HIGHLY professional - it’s quite RARE to meet engineers who not only have strong technical expertise but also know how to properly assess a candidate’s level. Each interview lasted over an hour, and the backend stage also included a live coding session.
A big plus is that I received immediate feedback after the frontend interview, and later a detailed written summary from both interviewers. This level of transparency and feedback is something I truly appreciate.
In the end, I did not receive an offer. The reason given was that my frontend skills were not strong enough, even though the role was initially described and discussed multiple times as backend-focused. At the same time, the backend evaluation was very positive.
Overall, despite the outcome, I found the process well-organized and professional, with valuable feedback that I can use going forward.
