I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at SWAT UK (London, England) in May 2018
Interview
I completed an online application form and was invited to an assessment day a few weeks later.
On the assessment day there was time to sit and chat with the other applicants before going through to sit the tests. There were 3 tests; maths, comprehension and a writing exercise. I only got one question wrong from both the maths and comprehension tests and wrote a well-structured, content-rich piece of writing and continued up to the time limit.
After completing the tests there was time to go out and get a bite to eat before returning to receive feedback on our tests.
As I mentioned I scored 93% and 100% on the maths and comprehension and prepared a well-written letter for the written task. I feel like the interviewer did not like me and chose to use the written task, as the only subjective task, as an oppurtunity to not let me progress to the interview stage. I felt the tests were very easy and did not allow me to demonstrate my abilities.
This experience overall leaves a bitter feeling towards SWAT UK.
