I spoke with the head receptionist initially and was given an over view of the position in addition to the opportunity to ask questions. After we were complete I waited to speak with the Artistic Director. I was asked several questions, given scenarios and also given the opportunity to ask questions.

Interview
Well, I thought I had the cat in the bag. Two interviews in one day - filled out the application three days before they called me in for the interview. Spoke with the first manager who was pleasant, interviewed me outside the salon, lounge area in mall walkway. She explained the work duties and hours/days of operation. She asked a couple of questions about my front desk and receptionist experience, hours of availability and my interest in customer service. I asked her if my scarf would be an issue since the application stated that headscarves, weave/wigs or any time of covering on the head would not be allowed. She explained that she doesn't see a reason in why it would be a problem. She was very excited to have me on board then said I would need to speak with her manager who would need to give us the GO on the hiring process.
Waited ten minutes, second manager was polite, went over the responsibilities and my front desk experience... Asked her about the headscarf, which didn't seem to win her over. All in all, the interview process wasn't so great.
