I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Savers (Draper, UT) in Mar 2013
Interview
I applied and got an email that day to set up an interview. She called me the next morning and come to find out this was for a supervisor position, even though it was posted as the Store Manager position. She said she would hire me on at a low pay. I said absolutely not. I am in Management and expect to be paid higher. You cannot survive with that pay in the area posted. She wasn't professional at all. It seemed like a lot of arguing even though she was the one that had lied about the position. No wonder she was in a hurry to hire. Everybody else is probably calling her out on the carpet.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Savers (Minneapolis, MN)
Interview
Two part interview. Fairly standard corporate interview. Friendly people that made me laugh. Took around two weeks to get offer. Training was around 2.5 years, much longer than anticipated. Overall a good experience.

Question 1
Looking back, What is something I would have done differently in my last position.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Savers (Montreal, QC)
Interview
Well done. The interview is structured and behavioral based. There is a minimum of 2 interviews. Before the interview there is an online assessment. The interviews stick to their structure and make you feel at ease during the process. The online application process however is not user friendly. This causes delays and some applicants give up.

I sent my resume through a career site and I was emailed roughly about a week later. The emailed stated that every manager starts out as an assistant and moved their way up and Value Village will run a background check and credit report. If I agreed to the terms please respond back and we set up for a face to face interview so I did.I met the District Manager and he gave me a quick run down about the company and gave me a tour. I was told I will get a call sometime next week. The district manager seems nice
