Second application attempt, unfortunately a disappointing experience
This was my second attempt to join Scalable Capital, and unfortunately the experience was not very positive.
The process included:
1.Head of Product
2.Case study
I spent several hours preparing a structured case study solution. After submitting it, I received a very generic rejection from the recruiter without any meaningful feedback or explanation.
I fully understand that companies cannot provide detailed feedback to every candidate. However, after asking candidates to invest several hours into a case study, I believe a short, specific explanation would be reasonable and respectful.
What made the experience more frustrating was that the role appeared to remain open for several months afterward. In my view, companies that care about their employer brand should put more effort into closing the loop professionally with candidates, especially after take-home assignments.
Overall, the process could have been handled with more transparency and consideration for the candidate’s time.

Had an interview 2 times for 2 different product roles. Was selected for case studies of both. Rejected both times without any feedback. Spent 7 + 7 days on each with a ppt, data prep etc.

Interview
The first interview was directly with the hiring manager with quite a few technical questions, imo his questions are very good and valid questions, so I overall had a good impression. However after that the company completely ghosted me, not even a rejection letter sent.
