I was contacted to set up an interview and a time was set, after a weeks long pause in hearing back. On the day of the interview I took an hour out of my current position to wait for the call, which never came. I was later told that the interviewer "totally forgot" about our interview, and the position was already filled. Very unprofessional, and an unfortunate way to present your company to outsiders who you may encounter later in your career, even if you are no longer hiring for that particular role.
