I was invited in for a first interview on a Monday.
That seemed to go very well, as I was invited in for a second interview the very next day at the end of my first one. The second interview was a remote interview, so I'm not sure why I needed to go into the office for that.
The second interview also seemed to go very well as I was asked to come in for a third interview two days later. The third interview also wound up being a remote one. At the end of the third interview (on a Thursday), the recruiter I'd been working with gave me a tour of the office and told me she would be in contact with me either way the following day. Then I was completely ghosted.
Two weeks have passed since then and while I have accepted another job which is a much better fit for me overall, I was incredibly put off by this experience. If you say you're going to call someone, you should call them. Management repeated to me through several interviews that there is a lot of turnover at the company because they promote from within so frequently -but I have to wonder it it's due to a (perceived or real) lack of respect or frustration with leadership.
