Online interview via Teams with Sembcorp hiring managers. A recruiting agency handled the hiring for this role, which was contract-based for 1 year.
Interviewers did not bother to switch on their camera at all. The questions were usual interview questions, to understand my background and then finally a technical question about database, which was simple in my opinion. Code was not necessary, just the thought process and explaining it to the managers.
Overall, interview process felt standard, but I was unsure how actively the role was being filled or how urgent the hiring need was.
