Sero interview questions

If you are a talented, confident, motivated developer please don't waste your time applying for a role in this company. It is being led by a bunch of jokers who do not know what they want. The role was advertised for an experienced developer with GCP or other cloud platform experience. I am an experienced developer with about 6 years of experience and a good level of experience in AWS and terraform. The interview process consisted of 3 stages: 1. Initial chat 2. Technical Test (take home or in person test) 3. Final stage (go through the code and competency questions) I was feedback that I answered all stages really well. They feedback that the take home project was the best they received so far. After the final stage, they replied I did really well but they want to sleep over it. Two days after they reply saying they can't make an offer as I have no GCP experience and I needed to be in my role for at least 6 more months. They were well aware of my experience from day one and didn't advertise this role as GCP focused. It seemed like they didn't have a reason to reject me and so they ended up rejecting me on some silly grounds. If my experience was such an issue they would have turned me down from the beginning and I wouldn't have wasted my time on long nights and early mornings.

The one-stage interview process for the role was a very friendly recruitment team and they responded very quickly. It was a positive experience. No tests are required. I recommend the process.
