Wow. I left this interview experience very, very, very hurt. I was chased and interest was reinforced over and over and over again, accelerated through the interview process, basically told I was getting hired, I was told they prided themselves on hiring good people and being kind, they told me I would be an amazing addition to the team … and then … crickets.
It emotionally destroyed me after the whiplash I experienced. I was so disappointed. I took a break from job hunting after this. Mind you, I have spoken to 100+ companies in the last five years.
And, their feedback was a bunch of BS. They lied thru their teeth after draaaaaggging me for weeks. Told me they filled it, and then had leadership post it same day.

Question 1
I was asked about my background and experience in different areas of marketing and cross functional support. Every question made sense.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SheerID
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter about 2 weeks after initial application. I went through 2 rounds of interviews and then was completely ghosted. Not even an email to simply say they were not moving forward…just ghosted. If this is how the company conducts their hiring practices, I can only imagine how their day-to-day must be. I would stay away…

Question 1
Describe a time when a customer was about to cancel and what you did to overcome that?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at SheerID (Portland, OR) in Mar 2025
Interview
I had an insightful hour-long initial call with the hiring manager (VP of Sales) followed by a 30-minute conversation with the Head of Solution Consulting. During that call, the Head of Solution Consulting expressed strong alignment between my experience and the role. However, later that same day, I was informed that I was no longer considered a fit for the position. *It's worth noting that during my call with the Head of Solution Consulting, they turned off their camera until the last three minutes of the conversation (Highly Unprofessional). Don't expect to receive honest &/or direct feedback.
