Went in for the renewable sales consultant position. Did very well with the interview and got called back for a second interview within 20 minutes of the initial interview. They proceeded to tell me they think I would be a better fit for the Role of Sales Operation Manager. Told them I was very interested and he proceeded to tell me that he was going to have to talk with the upper management but it seem like I was going to be hired. Was told to give them a couple weeks to get everything organized and created the position for me. Then followed up and found out that they move forward with someone internally and proceeded to waste 2 plus weeks of my time in the job hunt. I lost a lot of respect due to leading me on and then requiring me to follow up constantly until they finally told me I did not get the position.
