      Software Engineer Interview

      2 Sept 2013
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at ShopSavvy (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2012

      Interview

Phone screen with some technical questions, mostly related to backend web stack. After phone screen, there was an in office review that was pretty laid back. Everyone was pretty casual. There were a few technical questions, but was mostly focused on culture. They asked some of the basic OOP questions - patterns, polymorphism. Afterwards, they said there was a "technical test" which I assumed was some sort of homework, but I didn't get to that point.

      Question 1

There wasn't anything super difficult. I answered most of the questions. I'm assuming I didn't get the second call because I didn't fit in.
