The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Signet Jewelers (Parma, OH) in Feb 2009
Interview
I filled out an application online. Then I was called for an interview. At first I was interviewed by store manager A. Store manager A just read some stuff to me from the employee handbook about the store I was applying to work for. Then I went home and waited. In another week I was called by Store Manager B. Store Manager B was from a different store. This manager interviewed me for interview number 2. I then got called in another week for interview number 3. I interviewed with the assistant manager from store number 2. Then (get the picture?) I got to take some online tests about integrity and personality. The forth interview and fifth interview were by the store manager 1 and store manager 1 assistant manager.
So after 5 interviews I got a seasonal job with Sterling Jewelers.
I interviewed at Signet Jewelers (Douglasville, GA)
Interview
Applied online, called their location to follow up after a few days and was asked if I had brought my resume in for review. I had not received any communication from them, so I wasn't aware this was a step they required applications to do. When I asked the best time of day to come in, the woman laughed and told me to "figure it out."
The questions were easy and very general interview questions, first with store manager then a personality test that you need to get good marks then they call you to offer the job and best time to apply is September that they start hiring for Christmas and you can get a permanent position
Generally easy good natured interview. If you have good customer service skills it’s a breeze. Come armed with good examples of your experience and they do a role play example.
