Job candidates, please note that in early September 2022, we learned that there were scammers impersonating Simplexity Product Development employees sending fake requests to interview. The question above is not one that we ask during our interview process, but is one that we had reported to us by multiple candidates who were targeted by the scammers. Our interview process involves multiple phone interviews and then either an in-person interview or a half-day Zoom video interview with multiple employees, not interviews over email. We never send offer letters based on responses to emails. Please note the email addresses that you receive any requests from as they should always be from the SimplexityPD domain, not Gmail, Outlook, etc. The scammers have been sending offer letters with forged names and signatures on it, asking candidates to send their IDs, and then asking candidates to deposit checks for equipment supposedly needed to do the job. We never ask candidates to pay for equipment nor deposit checks to buy it. Once we hire a candidate, we supply company-issued equipment. If you believe you have been a victim of the scam, please report it to your local authorities.
