I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Singer Burke
Interview
The first interview was this strange and disturbing process of two managers watching me do a test on the accounting software and excel. It was purposely done to test work under pressure which was a joke and a red flag that they only care about what you can do and how fast you can do it. I don't think they cared for my personality as much and that was a major issue for me from the get go. I decided to give it another chance and go in for a second interview. Again, the other set of managers interviewing me were equally determined to find out more about my skills and how much i know about the job than getting to know me. I get it, having the technical skills is super important, but the vibes were off. Just a group of very bland, unprofessional people which I suggest everything stir far away from. My gut was right, this place is not for me and they proved themselves very quickly to me. Just a bunch of insincere and desperate people who wanted a smart person to over work. NEXT!

Applied through a recruiter.
1st interview was disturbing having 2 managers test me on the software and excel. Put a bad taste in my mouth from the get go because they seemed to care about the way the work was handled under high pressure rather then getting to know me. But sorry to break it to you, this isnt an SAT exam, or high school. I gave them a second chance and went for the 2nd interview.
2nd interview was mostly asking me what i know what i don't know in accounting and how i would handle situations. I don't think they really empathize or care about anything more than making you work. Very bland, cultureless group. Avoid these people, you'll do yourself a favor.
