      Account Manager Interview

      3 Oct 2019
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sites n Stores in Oct 2017

      Interview

This is the longest interview process I have ever had to go through and I should have paid attention to all of the red flags it was throwing up. The first stage is being invited to a group interview where you are asked to meet every other candidate and rate them against select criteria as to whether you liked them and would want to work with them. Turns out a few of the people you meet actually work for the company. You then have to present about why you want the job etc and then have an interview with one of the fake candidates. The next stage is a video chat with someone in the same role. If you pass that one, the egomaniac owner interviews you, again via a web chat. It was a deceitful process and unnecessarily long.
