      Games Host Interview

      12 Dec 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Arlington, TX
      Declined offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Six Flags (Arlington, TX) in Jan 2016

      Interview

The physical waiting takes the longest time, they make you take a basic math/money test which you have 10 minutes maximum to complete. After doing so, you get the paper checked one of the many supervisors present, then from there, if you passed, you get directed towards the application process. They give you a big packet to fill out and once you complete it, you turn it in, then you have to endure the long wait time to get called for your actual interview. For me, I was interviewed during their job fair in January before the new season, and as a result, there were hundreds of people present, which added on to the pre-interview anxiety. They call you in a group of about 10 people, and from there they take all of you guys into the staff cafeteria where there resume the actual interviews, some are a group interview and the others are individual. The wait there was even more long or short, depending on your department, retail, as I learned, has the most amount of people that apply and so the wait was excruciating.
