Similar experience to the review below me — the hiring process felt unorganized.
I went through a typical multi-round process for a CSM role (5 rounds, including a mock QBR), but communication throughout was inconsistent. I had to repeatedly follow up with the talent partner just to get interview dates and meeting confirmations, which shouldn’t be the candidate’s responsibility.
While everyone I met was kind and professional, the process itself came across as disjointed and poorly coordinated.

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Skimmer (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2025
Interview
The process was thorough, consisting of 7 or 8 rounds via Zoom. I met with a recruiter, senior leadership, and potential teammates. A highlight was the group interview where I roleplayed a Quarterly Business Review (QBR). I treated the interviewers as "pool pros" and demonstrated how they performed using Skimmer over the past quarter, which allowed me to showcase my product and process knowledge.
They also prioritized cultural fit by having me meet with a current CSM. This was a great opportunity to ask direct questions about the day-to-day role (and now I’m lucky enough to work with her!). While the process was lengthy, it’s clear Skimmer is intentional about hiring. Everyone I’ve met is genuinely caring, driven, and supportive.
