I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at SnackNation (Culver City, CA) in Jul 2017
Interview
This was definitely one of the most positive, open, and honest interview processes I've ever had at a company. Every person I spoke to (Ray, Andrea, Brendan, Chelsie) embodied the culture that is plastered all over their website and videos. It was very apparent that they all respect each other and the company very sincerely and it was really refreshing to be part of.
They placed a really high emphasis on culture fit all throughout the interview process, and moved everything along quickly. The in-person interview was with Chelsie and Andrea and evolved into a more personal/casual conversation. They asked a lot of questions around management style, and the tangible results I've achieved in prior roles.
Unfortunately the timing was off for me at the time so I withdrew from the process, but getting the opportunity to interview for a company that values everything that I value personally was a really positive experience and it seems like an amazing company to work for.

Question 1
How would you deal with someone abusing the PTO policy?
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at SnackNation (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2018
Interview
After applying on the Snack Nation website I received an email to take a personality test and a timed questionnaire. The following day I received an email to schedule a call/screening with a recruiter. The call took place and I was baffled at how unprofessional the recruiter was throughout the majority of the call. First, it was apparent he was eating during the entire call as I could hear utensils clanking and him chewing. Really? If I was eating as the candidate on a phone screening the person on the other end would be just as shocked.
As he was eating and trying to hide the fact he was eating, he muted the phone on his end which made it appear as if the call was being dropped on my end. It just made me think I didn't have a fair chance from the start since he wasn't fully paying attention or listening. I understand muting a call in a group conference setting but this was a one-on-one conversation.

Question 1
Can you provide an example of a time you upselled at a job?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at SnackNation (Culver City, CA) in Jul 2017
Interview
Phone screening was the usual then moved to interview with team managers followed by interview with vp then cfo! Once you get to the cfo you’ve basically made it! People here are really easy to talk to & it has lots to do with culture fit!
